What’s the status of Burnett? I thought I read he was injured, but is he just not listed because he’s on IR? Or is he actually healthy now?

He is active and ready to go. I read they will probably mix him into some D packages..
 
I am trying to pick the one game mcdonald is healty this season. And pick jom up in ff the week before. Then of course drop him for the follwing weekly
 
McDonald back to not practicing. I give him less than 10% chance of playing this weekend and less than 25% chance of playing next week. Should have cut him last year.
 
What? Our big acquisition at TE is injured and can't play?

So only big bad Vance is hurt.
 
I'm betting McDonald doesn't practice tomorrow and probably won't play next week now. He may have reinjured it. If so, they might as well IR him.

I'm speculating, so don't take this as a truth. It's just plantar facia injuries are tough to recover from and easy to reinjure.

That and he missed several games at the end of last season for an undisclosed foot injury. My guess is he has been dealing with this since last season. If that's the case, definitely IR him.
 
Buckey can play and hopefully play he will.

He had an Ankle last year, but recovered from it. Plantar Facia is under the arch of the foot. Completely different monster. Here's his 2017 injuries:

Vance McDonald Knee Contusion Full Wed Thu Fri 10/22/17 Ruled Out of week 8
Vance McDonald Ankle Full Wed Thu Fri 11/12/17 12/10/17 Injured Week 10 vs Colts. Returned and finished the game. Walking boot 11/14
Vance McDonald Shoulder Full Thu 12/11/17 12/21/17 Injured Week 14 vs Ravens. Did not return to the game.

Good to know but he's still a china doll that we should have tried to replace this of-season. Hopefully, they will get their heads out of their ***** and cut ties with him after the season.

Antonio Brown (quad) is not listed on the Steelers' injury report for Week 1 against the Browns.

Brown missed a chunk of training camp while nursing a minor quad injury but his status for Week 1 was never in doubt.
