The Pittsburgh Steelers have had quite an interesting offseason. One of the biggest remaining issues that still needs to be addressed is the future of superstar pass rusher TJ Watt. Watt has been a dominant force for the Steelers' defense and is widely regarded as one of the best players in the NFL. Now approaching his 31st birthday in October and with his contract set to expire after the 2025 season, Watt is looking for a new deal that would make him the highest-paid pass rusher in the league.

Here's the problem. Blame it on the Cleveland Browns. As usual they pay ridiculous amounts of money to players Deshaun Watson and now Myles Garrett. Now these contract bars have been raised. Myles should be at 30 per year not 40. Keep in mind TJ Watt went into his initial extension without an agent. So technically the Steelers would be giving him "back pay".
