I believe they had 2 third rounders last draft also. Also a total of 4.

The Pat's aren't afraid to let guys walk. It's super deceptive. Much like the rest of the organization. They have to be bringing in guys to replace. They cant all be draft picks and UFAs.

If the cheaters are turning over that level of talent then how the **** do they keep winning UNLESS there is a some other factors happening, such as play stealing through film / less fumbling due to deflated footballs (is anyone checking them now-a-days) / fuckingassholeshiteatingprickscytis !!!!




The XFL doesn't have a cheatriotsville in their league and for that reason alone one should be watching the XFL.

This offseason we are losing hargrave, finney, Davis, Vannett, Burns and maybe even Hilton and Banner. We should get a 3rd for hargrave and a 5th for Finney in 2021.

We won't be players in FA, keeping Dupree, Feiler, Vance, Banner and Hilton will be our shopping list this off-season. Resigning them won't count for the compensatory formula

This is from a buddy of mine on another Steeler forum, I trust him and he usually spot on with his takes.

Starters or not isn’t important. It’s a money formula.

number of dollars that a team’s free agents get signed for minus number of dollars a team signs during free agency

Bell signing for a big contract outweighed the signing of Nelson by enough to warrant a R3 comp pick. I’m not sure that the Taperiots losing Brown, Flowers, & Brown was twice as much as what Bell signed for. I do know that if AB had stayed one more week, it would have been disastrous for the Tapes (for many reasons... including comp picks), which shows how fickle the comp pick formula can indeed be.

The Ravens and Taperiots are experts at trading for low-level players (as opposed to signing free agents). Trading R6 picks, who play fir a few seasons, and then leave for bigger money has allowed both teams to essentially trade R6 picks for R4 picks (and this year, for multiple R3 picks). Similarly, for the Steelers, it’ll be interesting to see what Varrett gets as a free agent; maybe it’ll be enough to get a R4 pick.
