I didn't want to just target one or two posters, but I saw a few suggesting it today. I am not just talking about degree of injury or Steelers players only. In general it is just in poor taste and classless. Hey I get frustration. I hate losing, despise it.

In Florida in Steelers bars I would always tell Steeler fans don't do that as we are one of the largest if not the largest fan base. We should set an example of how a fan base should act. Sure a few is just a few.

Sometimes I think we should police up what just isn't right. You are my peeps regardless of hiccups in judgement. But c'mon be better. 👊

Couldn’t agree more. It’s classless and honestly it’s a mentality of losers. Of course I have hated a couple players and within the rules of the game have loved a good hit or two. But to wish injury on someone is despicable and not the Steeler way as fans and you are more than welcome to go cheer for the Browns. I’m sure they have a couple fans that would join you.

TOTALLY AGREE slash and shame on those who do want injury.

I never wish injury on any player ever, even the ****-ing ***-hole t*mmyb*y. Can I hope he gets beat up, yes but not a injury that takes time away. (for t*mmyb*y I want him to get beat to a pulp to the point he can just still play and hurts the next day).

I don't care who we play or what the circumstance is NEVER wish injury on anyone. I see this occasionally both here and in real time life, I always say something. Some get it, some don't but I do speak up.

Football has it's injuries and there is nothing I can do about or control that so if an opposing player is out due to injury it is what it is but I don't hope for injury.

Always, as a fan base we need to be better than that.

Salute the nation

Excellent posts here. This shouldn't even be a discussion...
I think refreshers are needed in life sometimes. Gentle reminders. That sheep just veered off the pathway. Little doggy nudge him back nudge him back.

😁

I'd definitely would never wish injury on a Steeler player, now another player we may have knocked out of the game with a clean shot? Sure. It's a collision sport. Back when this organization actually competed and won championships. They beat the **** out of people. You had to be a tough sob. Nobody wanted to play the Steelers and they knew that it would be a very physical black&blue game.

Yeah I definitely enjoyed James Harrison knocking people the **** out. Hines Ward ,same thing.

Now the team doesn't tackle anyone and it's offense lacks any physicality.

Vent mode off...

It’s only a game. Some folks shouldn’t take it so seriously.
At least to that degree. I mean get a tat, customize your car or Berm's dog. Throw **** across the room, rant. But let's draw those lines that shouldn't be crossed.

**** said in the Heat of the Moment! I'm guilty! At least I'll admit my flaws! What is so frustrating is that this team has pieces in place to be a real contender and we've got a **** *** QB and add in The Canada Effect and it's just criminal! Something no Steelers Fan deserves!

You weren't the only one. It is frustrating sure. Let's just simply be better than that.😉

Is the is post about Brady getting another STD tbag his wife was pissed about given she is a model and can’t have boils on her face?

Don’t forget that they have a “below the line” Head Coach that is choosing to keep those people in their positions, and signing off on everything. This multi-year hot mess is 100% his vision for the team. They also have a complacent Ownership that could care less as long as the money rolls in.

I said it earlier, and I will say it again, they should have went Rudolph instead of Mitch. Mitch showed absolutely NOTHING during the pre-season.

Rudy isn't the backup, he lost that job to Pickett.

Had nothing to do with Pickett. Rudy should have been the choice of vet QB over Mitch. KP is a different discussion all together. Tomlin said he wanted a vet QB, not a Rookie, he picked the wrong Vet QB

that is no excuse

not even sure why I didn't pull the trigger the second I read it

you keep making cry baby excuses about it and beating this dead horse and I will have to change my stance

What is wishing an injury. Does the wisher somehow voodoo his victim. I don't celebrate injuries. It's a very violent game. I don't think Devin Bush should be on the field. I didn't wish him injured. Nor am I celebrating his foot injury. But it's a lie to say I don't think they are better off.

and the ****** defense in the 4th quarter shows this may be incorrect

I think you know what that is referring to. Hoping a player gets injured. They weren't wishing Bush injured, they were referencing Mitch. Regardless liking physical play is different than wanting an injury to take place. Definitely not a good look.

So are we talking about those wishing injury on Steeler players only?

If so then the argument could be made that it would be hypocritical. I'm sure someone here at one time or another wished that a defender would take out Tom Bradys knees with no objections.
That said I do understand how wishing injury on your own player is taking it to another level. There's just something "extra wrong" about that.

Not that I disagree with you. I'm simply saying I don't believe in that mumbo jumbo. You can wish upon a star all you want. Ain't gonna make it so.

On any player Steeler or non Steeler. I loathe the cheats and never hoped they would get injured. Banned sure, blown out sure. Injured no.

Of course. Still shows poor taste. I never once thought that anyone could think it happen. It just was that we as a fan base should be classier than that

You ever watch this guy play. He doesn't even jump.on the pile. He ****** looks at it after. Cmon Coolie.
yes I watch him play

I replayed the last game to watch just him

I haven't done that yet for this game

I posted enough thoughts in the other thread and we are not turning this into another bush sucks thread

no one is stating that making those comments lead to injuries

they are saying it is a ***** move and only the worst bleeding cunts would type out posts saying a player needs to get hurt

This is not going to happen again on this site

I don't care if the player is brady or mitch or any other player on any team

posting that you hope they get as much as a hangnail and you will not post here any longer
