Steelers fan dies by cowboys fan habds?

wonder if the cowgirl fan gets charged with manslaughter............
 
Fights tend to happen. Booze man. That guy should get manslaughter
 
I think we have all seen liquor and football rivalries add up to problems. I was at a game last year in KC where a Steelers fan was acting like a complete *** hole in the hotel bar after the game. Came to punches over his belief that a woman stole his girlfriends handbag when she didn't. Unfortunate this guy died, but I don't think it has anything to do with the game other than a lot of people get drunk and stupid at these things.
 
I think you would really need to have been there to decide if someone should get a manslaughter charge. If two guys willingly enter a fight and it's like one punch and the guy dies. No I don't think so. If a guy keeps wailing on a guy after he is down. That's a different story.
 
I don't drink at or do sports bars for the very reason above. I always get some ******* asshat shooting his mouth who sits next to me. It's silly bs . The last thing I'd want to do is kill someone over a football game. I just go home.
 
What a waste. First off it is truely entertainment (the game). Secondly anyone who lets this crap football dictate their life to this degree definately needs help. Either way, my condolences to the family / friends / loved ones of the deceased and justice to the guilty party.

Had he kicked a puppy or a kitten, there would be more riots and outrage and countless hours of media exposure devoted to justice for kicking an animal

I wouldn't be involved in outrage, but I also still don't know facts. When you enter a fight willingly you are accepting a risk. If he was beaten badly, that is one thing. But if he took one bad shot to the head and got a brain bleed, I'm very sorry for his family and all involved. However, I'm not outraged nor do I think anyone should face charges.
 
I wonder what the follow up has been on this. Last I knew the authorities were reviewing security tape. Has anything progressed from there???? Again, condolences to the family and friends and loved ones.

of course he should face charges, a death resulted. Regardless of accident or not, that fan caused it. Innocent or guilty plays into the sentence, but a crime was committed. However you spin it/
 
In my world intent matters for criminality. Like I said I dont know the facts. Who pressed who into the confrontation. Who initiated the physical confrontation. How many punches were thrown and by who. Like I said if you want to take someone's freedom and pay for his incarceration because he threw one bad placed punch ok. If he beat the he'll out of the guy when he couldn't defend himself that is different.
 
From what I can make out from the article the guy got knocked out, maybe was attended to but regardless was released and didn't seek medical treatment. Went for drinks. Went home, went to Bed and didn't wake up.
 
Unless it was self defense there is no escaping punishment. Not sure it is the case with the cops actively searching for him.

I do hope they catch whomever it was. I think justice should be served as accountability matters. If you hear anything more would you post it here??? THANK YOU in advance.

Street fights have consequences. Don't get into one unless you are ready to die. Unless you kissed your kids and told them "I might get in a street fight tonight, so I might not ever come home again..", don't get in a street fight. Run. Go home. Don't do it.

People need to get a grip. That poor guy probably had kids who are now suffering the unimaginable, and all over a meaningless game. Doesn't matter if it's the S.B. still meaningless in the greater scheme of things.

He had three kids, married, and from what I read they were pretty quiet to themselves type people.

Everything I read is they had words and the guy punched him. If that be the case it is indeed assault and manslaughter.


Been to many of games, there is always one asshat who has to show out. In this case I think the Steeler fan was the innocent party as far as who threw the first punch. I could care less who started the smack talk. But on a losing effort I can bet it wasn't the Steeler fan. There is nothing we should be smack talking going into this game or the Dallas game. As this season has been a big pile of steaming ****.
