Steelers Expected to Release Mike Mitchell

I don't dislike Mitchell as everybody else here does. He was a good free agent signing who was very serviceable for a couple years but his play declined with age. I wsa also a massive fan of his anti Goodell rant this season. He's this year's popular fan whipping boy and convenient target. Timmons left so somebody had to get the title this year I guess. There always has to be one. Guys get older and their play falls off, it's no reason to shower hate on them IMO.

His play was terrible and could not back up his antics. Trash talking, celebrating a tackle after a long gain, personal fouls, etc etc. Mitchell was only decent a yr out 2. Once he is released i sure hope they do not bring him back in any way
