As Pittsburgh Steelers reporter, Missi Matthews let us know over the weekend, the team will be making their first rounds of cuts this week of the off-season prior to the start of the 2021 regular season.

The #Steelers are practicing this morning and then have the day off tomorrow.

Tuesday marks the first round of cuts.

August 17th – 90 to 85
August 24th – 85 to 80
August 31st – 80 to 53 #SteelersCamp

Today, the Steelers reduced their roster down to 85 players by releasing DE Abdullah Anderson, DB Stephen Denmark, WR Isaiah McKoy, K Sam Sloman, and T Brandon Walton.

Not a surprise but Haskins is still on the roster but way back when.............. it wasn't the general consenus that he would make the 53. I know this is just the 85 but reality is......Haskins makes the 53.

The Jags cut Tebow so he's available. Wasn't used properly in black & blue.
 
Wasn’t he the one who had a Jag or Mercedes in college and had a hot tub in his dorm room?
 
McKoy pretty much sealed his fate by running many yards backwards on that punt return against the Eagles.

I'd bet that all those dummies who rushed out to buy Tebow jerseys for 120 bucks are feeling a little silly right about now. Jersey assurance applies to trades, not cuts.
