Well, on Monday, my dad and I, along with my two boys, are about to set sail on the fifth Steelers cruise. It's been a blast over the years, and made for many great memories -- like when I was mistaken for Heath Miller 23 different times on the first cruise back in 2014, and he told me I could sign his autograph for people if they asked me (which I did!). I've also worked out with (well next to, really...lol) Antonio Brown, played poker with Santonio Holmes (I bluffed him out of a nice pot with a 7-high), and been the only guy on a six-man pool volleyball team who wasn't a Steeler (including Hampton and Porter). We've met and gotten photos with legends such as Joe Greene, Greg Lloyd, and Bryan Trottier (the one year they had some other Pittsburgh "legends" on the ship), and last year my kids were tossed around the main pool by none other than JuJu himself...he was incredibly friendly and accommodating to everyone on board.

This year, I'm looking forward to seeing JuJu again, meeting James Conner, and getting the hell out of this northeast weather for 5 days.

Just thought I'd check and see if anyone on the board might also be attending this time around?

just curious, how much $$ does that cruise run for?

1 grand and up if you just go without the Steelers package. But if you book for the Steeler package it is like $2500 if I remember correctly.

Oye! Out of my affordablilty? If that's a word

Dude, if you can spell it,..............................it's a word.!!!!

Depends on the type of cabin you get, but we got a great deal this year on our large oceanview.

Like slashsteel said, it's considerably higher through the Steelers site, but then you get automatic access to all of the events. I think the first year we paid around 2K for two, and it was well worth it.

Thanks guys. I'll be sure to post after we get back...if we get out of this Philly snowstorm alive tomorrow morning!

Hey fill us in on what their Steelers package gets you when you get back please. I have been debating going on it, but wanted to know what was specifically offered. If it was worth the price differential.

To expand on that what Top means by type of cabin is you have the ones with balconies that give you that sea view, and ones who don't (inside cabin)which are cheaper. Also suites which have bathtubs, and cabins without suites and balconies. I had a balcony when I went on my last cruise, I am spoiled I won't go on anything less.

Will do, buddy. I usually snag a Steelers itinerary early on, then as I meet people (mostly chicks), they sneak me into the stuff I really want to see.

But the atmosphere on the ship is great either way -- the one time there were Bengals fans on the port shuttle, and they asked me what the hell the deal was with all the Steelers fans going on board (I had my Ben jersey on), and it turns out they had no idea their vacation was about to be inundated with black and gold...lol.

Is this your 5th time on the cruise or the 5th time the cruise is happening????
