Our defense is so much faster overall......but people have to see the field.
I don't like their RB and TE depth. Everything else looks gtg.

Indeed, he's probably the most impressive UDFA this year. We know the Steelers love their Florida linemen - Starks, Gilbert, Pouncey - is Fred Johnson next in line? Sure, he went undrafted, but the kid is massive and shows tackle/guard capability.

Johnson’s versatility a strength on UF offensive line

Fred Johnson makes list of best players who went undrafted.
Fred Johnson, OG, Florida. Playing next to Jawaan Taylor, Johnson came close to matching the second-round pick's power at the point of attack and moved well to the second level in the run game. He has inconsistent hand placement in pass protection but is a mountain of man who's hard to move.

I still can't believe Rogers, Spencer AND Holton were all cut.
Gotta make room for skipper and ug3
The next 24-36 hours could still be fluid as far as adding-substracting players, it usually is. I wouldn't set the roster in concrete just yet.
Maybe they bring in Shady McCoy.
Maybe, but with a waiver position (20?), realistically what's going to be out there?
Just hoping those they want on the PS survive tomorrow.
I hope not, he will think that he deserve a certain amount of touches and mess up the chemistry. If Connor doesn't get hurt there will not be many touches left for another back.
Btw, congrats to big Fred Johnson for coming in as an UDFA and making the team. I guess it would be appropriate to repost this from our post-draft thread.![]()
Craig Wolfley was real high on this guy and for good reason.

I can't believe Spencer,Rogers, AND Holton were released odd.
No that is just bad thinking.. running the wheels off of backs has ruined way too many rbs for the Playoffs... i would rather have connor lose 30% of his snaps to a legit backup and be fresh and healthy for the playoffs than have him outstat everyone but be at 80% or less when it matters
True you don't want to run the wheels off, but you also don't want another egomaniac in here like L. Blount.
Just waiting for more ground breaking news ...... Tomlin signs DHB to complete the 6 receiver corps
