The Pittsburgh Steelers are continuing to change up the roster as the season reaches the halfway point. According to the team on social media, Pittsburgh has released veteran defensive end DeMarvin Leal. A former third-round pick out of Texas A&M in 2022, Leal played in a total of 31 games over the last four seasons. His most impactful season was in 2023 when he played in 12 games and started four of them. He recorded 15 total tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and his only career sack. The 25-year-old will now look to make a name elsewhere if he isn't somehow brought back to the practice squad.
