The Pittsburgh Steelers signed their first player from outside of their organization today. It comes on a one year contract to Miles Killebrew, a converted safety that now finds himself playing linebacker.

Killebrew is known for his work on special teams, though. Several fans mentioned that he was a ‘dog‘ on special teams, and a tackling machine. He recorded 30 tackles on special teams from ’16 to ’19.

Arguably the best special teamer the Lions have had over the past 5 years. Also a fantastic leader on the team. Was the Lions' NFLPA rep in 2020.

May not provide on defense, but he's a good guy to have in the locker room.

Killebrew was a fourth round draft choice by the Lions in the 2016 NFL draft.

Lions fans and some writers had high praise for Killebrew’s play on special teams and locker room presence. Seems like a good depth signing.

A more athletic Marcus Allen?
If you compare combine scores Allen is half of Killebrew so I would say... yes. In unrelated banter I have been known to have killed many of brews in my lifetime.😁
