With their depth at running back and wide receiver depleted, the Steelers signed a pair of speedy players in Deon Cain and Kerrith White Jr.

I mean you need speed at wr pretty badly... none of the big name guys give that to you... you take a chance here and if the kid works out its one less need for next year...

PS players can have gems on them

Can't be worse than Moncrief.

I hope you knocked on wood when you typed that. ;)

These signings are pointless. Neither guy is capable of coming in and playing right now so what's the point? If JuJu and Diontae can't go this week, it will be brutal. Even with these signings, we don't have 3 legit NFL WR's ready to play. Everyone will blame Rudolph but if we don't have JuJu and Diontae, we will probably lose to the Bungles unless the D can score 2 or 3 TD's. And, in 2 weeks against the Clowns, expect our D to have a few ejections. I would fully expect them to target Mayfield and OBJ's knees. It will be ugly.

It is like the Fitz signing was more for the future than the present. They just got lucky and he impacted better than expected. ******* scrub a dub dubbing your way to the off-season for me isn't really trying. And if they are trying then they are firing blanks. As I always say I expect results. Anything less is underachieving. I am not asking for a SB victory this year to be clear. But I damn sure expect to make the playoffs.

I was for keeping Switz over Rogers but, at this point, why not look at Eli. I am sure he is still in shape. He knows our system and could come in, practice this week and play against the Bungholes.

I think the WR has the most potential of the two. The RB just looks like another guy they want to try to help get an actual return game going (good luck with that). He's fast but has really no other value as an NFL RB IMO. Just another little fast guy to churn thru the roster and PS.

I wonder if either one of them can return kicks? I was getting plenty tired of fair catches.

Ah yes, a speedy WR for Mason to under throw.

We could have / still could sign Terrelle Pryor. We'd get an experienced WR and a QB that is better than Mason.

I still think we gave away Dobbs too quick, he might have been a spark
