The Steelers added some depth to their roster in advance of the 2020 NFL Draft by signing four free agents, including defensive back Breon Borders, tackle Anthony Coyle, center John Keenoy and defensive back Arrion Springs.

according to Teresa Varley

Borders and Coyle both have a shot to at least make PS. Both have produced in college and have enough athleticism to play in the NFL. Keenoy is limited athletically and physically and Springs has pigeon toes and doesn’t have big play ability. They’d have to show up huge in special teams and be able to play multiple positions to make it,

We posted at the same time, thanks.

yawn.

The odds that somebody comes in to camp, either as a FA pickup or a draft pick and does anything to make a ripple in the following season is really really small.

I'm not enough of a football junkie, should I be excited about this or just yawn?

I think we are signing anything and everything available to us ahead of the draft because we have so little number of picks and because Covid is going to affect UDFA after the draft.

Pittsburgh is just doing whatever they can to assure choices and camp competition if it even takes place.

My thought too. If someone or two stick even better but with all these signings its a given that the Convid-19 is at play.

Salute the nation

These guys just good to create competition for position battles of backups?

I would agree with you Wig on the latter end of the draft and most FA pick ups. Hoping Ebron is going to be the exception as an impact and believe Stef and the Worm will see playing time.
As far as this year's draft ...... I think they have set themselves up for BPA ..... which in my opinion could result in a playmaker RB or WR being an option in the 2nd or an OL guy that would see the field.
Even down to our 4th round picks I see viable draft prospects that could contribute to depth and make the roster. Trying to be optomistic in these trying times
