Steelers 2024 Offense

Spot on

Had we not had a HOF QB, and the coordinators
Already in place I have zero doubt the coat tail rider never would’ve won a SB. The stars were perfectly aligned for a mid coach to ride a hot streak to glory, with someone else’s culture/team.

As those players left, many of them made public comments of having to change practices. They complained of the “Tomlin” way.

As they left, the culture / team changed to way less discipline, questionable work ethic, less than 60 minute men and declining.

BEN extended the Tomlinships his entire career, Tomlin held on tight to the coat tails. He is now a rich man.

Salute the nation

Agreed, everyone gives Tomlin credit for getting the most out of AB, but let's be real, that was Ben, Ben getting him the ball is what kept him happy. Ben missed a couple games and AB was already bitching after a win, so Ben got the most out of AB not Tomlin, so I agree on the franchise QB thing.
I'd trade him, but it's so hard to even consider anything knowing Tomlin will be back, we could have a franchise QB fall in our laps and we'd never know it because Tomlin would keep the wraps on the QB. We got lucky that Ben was a Super Bowl winner and a 4 year veteran and we had the OC and DC in place when Tomlin got here.
That's why I think it would be a smart thing for the QB to seek offseason guidance on his own. I keep bringing up the case of Allen in Buffalo. He was struggling early in his career with accuracy, etc.. He went to his trainer I believe after his 1st year and we all can see how well it turned out. I said KP should have done it and I think Fields should do it if he is truly serious about improving. Get a trainer in the offseason.

I looked at the QB stats in 2023 and 2024 and the numbers aren't all that different. Yeah, I know, Kenny sucks.
Point being, I don't think it matters who is under center unless the philosophy on how they are used changes.
If this team can't find a way to dominate, or at least compete, at the LOS, the mediocrity will continue.
