According to Bouchette, the Steelers have had at least one coach (and he insinuates more than one) who couldn't arrive for kickoff more than 2 hours ahead of time. What the heck, first Bell skips out, but coaches running late for a game?

Okay, if its more than one, and only one coach was not asked back there could be 1 or 2 tardy coaches on Tomlin's staff.

This is unacceptable, and if true could be the final straw that snapped Art Rooney into acting.

Eh nothing is gonna happen until fan interest wanes.
The Steelers logo and team means a lot historically to the fans. Especially to the Pittsburgh community.

I'm sure Art will act if the community sends out a full displeasure in the way the organization is being represented.
I'm not saying go full blown boycott, send hate mail etc.

But does the community in either way have access to talk to Rooney or Tomlin?

I wonder if another team having equal or more hardware in the front office would spur management to get their **** in gear with respect to personnel and work ethic.

If so,,Go Pats...I just threw up in my mouth a little

I wonder if this was already being discussed in the thread that was posted by this very website? hmmmm....

If the coaches are truly being tardy, then you can't really expect the players to be on time either. Tomlin really needs to tighten the ship.

How ******* "101 coaching" is this, HAS Coach Cool Shades even attended class?????

Salute the nation

Names....I am very curious "who" they are. **** this is an undisciplined team from top to bottom. Sad really.

Tomlin you need to read the comments instead of practicing your next speech. No wonder we look like crap and then listen to all the commentators point the big finger at the Steelers. Well at least Tomlin looks forward to that challenge he loves so much.

No man. He "embraces" it.

Too late. Once you set a standard of lax leadership and no discipline, it almost impossible to walk it back. You see it with weak leaders in the Army all the time. **** ends up worse than the mess you currently have. A lot worse.

Since I never played or coached professional football I do not know what the protocol is for practice or game day arrival time.
That said and after spending 34 years working private sector (now retired) contract work for federal, state and local entities, rule of thumb for designated appointment or show up time? If you're not five minutes early you're late. Show up unprepared? Tomorrow somebody else is doing your job.
I guess that football coaching gig has it's perks?
