Just in case you wondered if N.E. rewarded their own...

Gronk had an opportunity to hit bonus paydirt this season. He had 5.5 million in bonus incentives riding on this season. 3.5 million were to be earned (were in fact earned) when Gronk broke 1000 yards on the season. He did that last week.

In order to earn the other 2 million, Gronk needed 11 catches on Sunday. Now, you could say that's a tall order. Apparently it was as Gronk had zero that's the digit mind you, 0 catches on Sunday. Of course his ridiculously low catch count was extraordinarily aided by the fact that he was only targeted ... zero times. yes, again in digits - 0.

Wig is saying Belicheat ordered Mr Bundchen not to throw Gronk the ball to avoid paying him for hitting his bonus number.

That he would offer a bonus and then afford him zero chance of earning it is devious. Why would they want to mess with him going into the playoffs?
 
Huh. If he needed 2 or 3 catches or something I would say it was intentional, but 11 was highly unlikely especially when the Jets couldn't muster up more than 6 points.

But as noted prior, **** the Pats and **** Gronk. He should have been suspended for several more games anyway for trying to take someone's head off out of bounds. No sympathy from me.

A good organization would at least let him try. In Barry Sanders last year at Detroit in the last game of the year he needed 249 yards to take the rushing title. The commentators said it was doubtful he would get that against the defense they were playing I forget who it was. What I remember though was Barry Sanders sitting on the bench the last series in the fourth quarter with a total of 253 yards on the day. You give the guys a chance you let them compete.

Now that's just wrong and Gronkowski should be reminded of this repeatedly. Two million bucks isn't chump change!
Hey Gronk, you need to teach those Cheats a lesson, skip the sffoyalp, that'll learn em!

Good point. Keep him on the field because they have to cover him, but don't risk injury and definitely don't try to get him 11 receptions.

He is actually the one true athlete that might make HOF for the cheatriots. Unfortunately he will always be associated with the cheating ********.
POS as to his playing on the cheating team, had he played for PITTSBURGH or New Orleans or ____________(insert name) he would be considered
one of the best ever.

And bell could have had the rushing record but we sat him. 11 catches is unlikely so don't really understand the point of this post. The hatred for the pats on here is more like an unhealthy obsession.
