The man has been losing weight for some time now. He is on the right path. Hopefully his play will continue to improve. As the NT position would welcome a upgrade. Little early to put that stamp on big Dan. But not out of the realm of possibility.

I just hope sometime in his career he can pick up a fumble and get running downfield. One of my favorite plays in football is the few times when a big guy gets the ball and starts rumbling downfield.

refrigerator Perry says hi

deep freezer Dan says maybe

Who was it a few years ago who got a fumble and went running downfield, his chinstrap came undone and his helmet started to come up off his head and it's all flopping around up there, along with his gut? Sam Adams, maybe?

This is one position of need, If McCullers can fill that void,..............Great !!!!!!

Salute the nation

I am looking forward to seeing an improved big Dan, particularly with regards to keeping his pad level low. Sky is truly the limit as far as his God-given gifts are concerned, all he needs is to keep that fire burning in the pit of his stomach. If he WANTS to be great, i see nothing stopping him

I think Mitchell has got in his head and possibly flipped the switch. Some guys don't know that they can or even want to be great until someone pushes, prods, pulls the "want to" and "can do" out of them. I think Dan was one of those guys last year. "Just happy to be drafted. Gonna see what I can do and how this is." Kudos to Mitch for not letting him settle for just being a novelty (largest guy on the field). Hopefully it pays off.

I read about another guy someplace, sorry no link, that Gethers had also made a huge improvement from when he arrived. He has apparently been training very hard the entire off season. So to look at it at this point in time the line would be Cam H, McClendon, Tuitt, McCullers, Gethers, and one more. It is nice that we likely have 2 players poised to make a big jump in what they put on the field this year and possibly more.

sounds like that bulb is flickering and will hopefully stay on. Go Big Dan!

I hope the switch flips on because I think McLendon is too light to play NT the way we use that position.

Clifton Geathers.

Geathers is 6'8" - 325 lbs

McCullers is 6'7" - 352lbs (last years weight).

Those are two very large men.
