Knowing you hung with the Pats for a while, took the lead on the Cowboys with less than a min left without your franchise QB, beat the next two opponents without any hassle....take it to the Giants (Steelers were in control throughout), took it to the Bills with their playoff lives on the line...even when your QB had an off day....and see Giants taking it to the Cowboys (the supposed best team in football)......

So if your the Steelers....how would you feel? This team has to feel great right now, it's as healthy as ever, rookies on defense playing great, they have to know/realize they have something magical might be brewing...

I fear no team...especially now the defense is gelling.

For some reason, the Bungles scare me. But then again, Ben usually follows up a turd game with a really good one.

The bungles are a scary team in the sense that they have nothing to lose being they are eliminated from playoff contention, coupled with playing at home and having players on defense that have no problem delivering dirty hits that could cause long term injuries that in turn will have an impact on the Steelers chances making and/or succeeding in the post season.
If the Steelers make it through this game with a victory and with the run of the mill minor injuries, I like the Steelers chances in making and succeeding in the post season.

Ben played vs. the Cowpatties. Threw for 400 yards

As SC78 mentioned, the franchise quarterback played against the Cowboys, and had something to do with taking that lead with less than a minute left.

Otherwise, I agree. I used to fear the Patriots, but without Gronk, and with the emergence of Burns in the secondary, I think the Steelers would have a decent chance to beat them.

Obviously any given Sunday! Everyone is beatable. The Steelers can beat anyone and they can lose to anyone. It's all above the shoulders and in the heart. "I guess we just refused to be denied"... a line I heard Mean Joe Greene say about the mindset of the 70's Steelers. Ferociously focused on a single objective.

With Burfdefect facing the Steelers for the first time this year, our team with be ready. No one on this team has forgotten what he has done, or the depths he'll sink to injure a player.

If I'm the Steelers, I'm feeling good. BUT, we've all seen what happens when this Steelers team starts feeling good about themselves. That's when they decide they can go out and just coast and get crushed. So as a fan, I'm feeling good. As for the team, I'm hoping they are all business right now and approaching every game like a playoff game. Don't look at the Bungles record. It's a road game against a division rival that hates us. Step on their throats

Agree, but we need Bey or Coates back healthy for the deep threat, and a healthy rested Williams down the stretch should also help.

we are not leading the North just yet nor we have any cushion, shouldn't feel comfortable

Without Green, the Bengals have a very limited passing attack. Eiffort and Boyd are the receiving threats.

1/2 game up.
if the Rats lose tonight - and they will - we're a full game up.

Agreed. Seems like right now the only players Ben has confidence in are Bell, Brown, and Green.

i'd have Nix or Williams start something with Burfdefect before the game and get his *** thrown out.

Ben spreads the ball decently, the young WRs aren't getting much separation, the exception being the crossing route by Hamilton that gained 15 yards

He is spreading it around, but if you look at when he forces the ball, it has been at Green or mostly Brown. Having Bryant suspended, Hey Bey injured, and Coates MIA has really hampered the high scoring potential of this offense.

What happens each Sunday stands on its own. We need a better performance this Sunday to beat the Bungles. We played sloppy defense when we got up big yesterday. The offense turned the ball over way too many times. There are a lot of positives to take from the game yesterday however. We are in a good position if we win out where the #3 seed is all ours. The #6 seed would be Baltimore (they need to lose tonight) or Denver.

agree, hope good Ben appears and stays. Take what they give you, don't force it

The team can't even BEGIN to start thinking they've got anything in the bag yet.

Remember how they play against teams they "should beat".

This must win for Cincy, to keep their playoff hopes alive and to take a chunk out of ours, this game will be tough. We do need a consistent #2wr still, even if it's not a deep threat, but it was nice to see them use a FB more, just adds another dimension to the offense

As long as they're healthy, I always feel good about the Steelers because they'll be able to compete with anyone. My biggest concern down the stretch is the lack of a No. 2 option at receiver. Bell is an outstanding weapon, but at some point there will be a team that can shut him down and the Steelers will need another weapon to emerge.

I wouldn't put it past hoodie to figure he can win out after the Ravens, still get the #1 seed and purposely lose to **** us.

I was thinking have Fort or a back up LB do it (JJ?) so if they get thrown out, too, it is no biggie.
