After Ben's second pick the defense held them to a FG thanks to this play by Davis. Huge play and much needed.

but Davis sucks.

This is our best win in years. Essentially a playoff game win, vs a heated rival.

Davis is just a guy on the team. Lots of players made plays to win, and he wouldn't be on my list of top 6 players for the game.

There really isn't much of a need to post threads like this. Let's bury it in 2016.

Easiest way to bury it is for you to say I made a mistake in my initial evaluation and the Steelers didn't. Happens all the time.

You have the gall to state that "posting threads like this" needs to be buried???

Go stand in the corner, Coach.

And it's a TD if Davis doesn't get his hand in there and punches it out. But what is funny is if Davis gives up a TD there Coach breaks his fingers trying to make a thread about it lol

Might I remind you that Jarvis Jones and Ziggy Hood once made a few plays, and you types who just can't stand player criticism were stroking them too? Davis has been more reliable now, but I'd hardly call him much beyond that. Well, see how he plays in the playoffs and next season. Video of the play would ne nice.

Until then, notice how much better the defense was once Jarvis Jones was benched. I wonder who was the most vocal person here for that move?

A hint

Why do you need video of the play it was on TV?? That play was huge and the fact that you can't even acknowledge that is sad. A TD there and it's a totally different game. It was great play and it helped us win that game. Just say great play kid Jesus Christ

Get real...there was a long assed line here wanting Baby Huey benched..there was a long assed line here saying he should never have been drafted (you were on your little hiatus from here at that time)..So please do not pretend that you were the guiding light for having him benched on this site...check yourself Cooch

LOL, I hated the Jones pick from day one. BOTH OF THEM. Didn't like the Thomas pick, the Hood pick, giving Woodley a fat new contract and many other moves...but I won't get a big head because of it.

paperclip

would love to see this list, coach.

Most impactful players for the Ravens game. Ben, Bell, Brown, Timmons, Rogers, Shazier. Strictly my opinion. Lots of guys made plays.

Actually it was Vader. Personally, I didn't know you existed until you started making post, after post, after post. Vader, however, was the ringleader for the "I hate Jarvis Jones" fan club based upon his love of SEC football and having watched the kid play during his college career.

Can't say Vader and I got along all the time (or even often), but he was spot on on his evaluation and continued disparagement of Jones. You? Like i said, if you were THAT vocal, it must have been a whisper.

I don't think I know ONE person on here that did like the JJ pick....but you had a bunch that gave him a chance to prove everyone wrong. As far as giving Woodley the money why would you not like us locking him up long term...He was a beast.

Yep Vader and all of the other draft guys on here hated the JJ pick. They all stated he would suck leading up to the draft.

Name 5 people here who wanted to see Ziggy Hood regularly on the field...

I was not happy about the Burns pick. I wanted the trade down with the Donkey's for their first and third round pick and take Myles Jack if Burns is off the board. Jack has not been great by any means but still is recovering from his knee. I would of made him get that microfracture surgery and just red shirted him this year. But totally up to the medical staff. I did like the Davis pick but with my draft I go several different directions because of the trade. Looking back I will say the Steelers draft so far looks far superior to mine as I get us Jack, Nassib, Hargrave, Justin Simmons, and not a CB until Deiondre' Hall in the 4th. None of my guys have done exceptional but well as rookies. We will see in 3 years but right now the Steelers draft looks to have found 3 starters in the first three rounds then 2 backups and 2 special teams guys. Maybe a starter out of one of those two in the future as Dirty Red and Ayers show potential.
