That is obviously a photo shop job. And not even a good one. :)

I just don't get all the Porter on the field crap. so what, walk the **** away.I don't care if he said he would **** his wife and moma. just walk away. can't get a penalty if you walk away.

The penalty was on Jones for shoving a ref, not Porter. It was all on him.

They cant get past why porter got no penalty... Newsflash... the guy did nothing but smirk... he got shoved into the Bengals defensive huddle... he was on the field with a zillion other people... they crop that video to only show him starting in the huddle and make sure you don't see jones lose it and try to violently get through three refs to get at porter... its Victim mentality over there... They lost a game they should have never been in and need to blame anyone but the guilty parties

Maybe you should pull up a pic of any assistant coaches on the field after Shazier's hit. I am sure there are a couple

DK said in a post game article that Porter had a few choice words for Burfict when he went onto the field. If Porter gets a fine then they better rewatch the entire game and fine everyone that should not of been on the field. That will be a lot of fines because both sides had coaches and players on the field at times when they should not of been there.

That is when that pic is from. Notice the score. This was right about the time that Jeremy Hill came off the bench to try and fight...

In the clip that keeps circulating, with Porter on the field, you never see Porters mouth move in any other way than that "you can't be serious" smirk he gives. Also you can see Burfict grab Porters coat and pull him INTO the Bengals huddle.

The rules allow other coaches to come onto the field if their is a major injury to check on the player. In AB's case, he was down for quite a while and he could barely walk when they did get him off the turf. I would think that has to be considered major so Porter was allowed to come on the field to check on him. I really see no reason for him to be fined for this unless they are going to say the ref heard him say this and that to opposing players while he was on the field.

The actual rule says no one is allowed on the field except trainers without ref permission, but i have never seen that called in all my time watching football and coaches ofall levels are routinely out there during tv timeouts and injury time outs

I'm just amazed at how much attention Porter is getting. It's, in some ways, over-shadowing what Burfict and PacMan did. Everyone looking for someone to blame for THEIR behavior. On Sirius this morning, Bob Poppa and Shannon Sharpe are just going off on any Steelers fan that calls in and says Porter was allowed to be on the field. They keep saying "Porter was out there for one reason and that was to stir the pot" and they will hear nothing different.

Now he may have been, I can't say he was or wasn't. But they won't entertain the following idea. Joey's a bad *** and a "protective" sort of dude. Everyone knew that situation had a chance to blow up into something more. Of course Joey's going to go onto the field, not just to check on Brown (or not at all for that reason) but to be out there to defend Steeler coaches/trainers/players in case **** blew up.

We saw all the Bengal coaches on the field when Hill came onto the field after Bernard went down. Joey was doing nothing different, in my opinion.

So, enough of this "he wasn't allowed to be out there" nonsense.

I heard it was for throwing a punch at Joey ... who know what the heck happened .... it would not have been an issue - but I heard this morning on the fan that Burfict said 'I put him to sleep I will put the rest of you to sleep too' .. That alone should have been the second flag (that came from Josh Miller this morning -- not sure where or who told him )

Also there is the report that I posted on Facebook which makes sense to me !!

Yep. They keep talking about the Steelers coaching staff (Munchak and Porter) being "out of control". Give me a break. Munchak shoved a guy and pulled his hair a little. Porter walked on the field, said some things, and smirked. Burfict intentionally tried to injure two star players. And does it every single game. Which is worse?

Yep. I have a beef about that Munchak thing too, at least how everyone is reading it. You'll notice on replay Munchak tries to slow Nelson down. Only when Nelson turned, to continue to pursue our RB out of bounds (i.e., he was still going after our player, out of bounds) did Munchak start to grab Nelson. I suspect had Nelson not continued pursuit, Munchak wouldn't have grabbed. Once again, I think like Porter, Munchak was trying to protect his players. He was still wrong, but this idea that he was "out of control" is ludicrous.

That's the point, the talking heads always have to find a way to justify the stupidity we see on a weekly basis. Conveniently, none of the replays show that Gilberry initiated the incident with Porter.

And then you have, Deion Sanders trying to convince the world that birthdefect's hit on Brown was legal and he did everything he could to avoid contact. I did actually gain a little respect for Boomer, he was one of the few that called the bungles out, without trying to blame anyone else.

And it could be argued that Todman was pushed out of bounds, though it was pretty close. Close enough that Munchak may have thought it was a late hit.

Here's the thing for me. Does anyone think that JOEY FREAKING PORTER wouldn't have done the same thing even knowing that he might get fined? I'm thinking Joey didn't give a **** and "IF" it was his intention to say something to Burfict or even just smirk at him like Burfict was an idiot, he was going to say it and "IF" Burfict reacted and gave us another 15 yards and the win, the fine would be worth it. (Turns out it was PacMan that took the bait).

God Bless Joey Porter!

So I have the game on my DVR and I fast forward to the point where this photo was taken ... and it is a VALID photo ..
