My cat Lexi (who happens to be a Bengals fan) was very prominent in this VidCast...

Great Show.A few comments:

John was great. Bring him back as a regular analyst!!

Discussion of OLine was interesting. He mentions just not getting low enough. I started watching tape last night - got through first Q of Giants game and was watching a bit. I noticed the only player with his hand in the dirt consistently is DD. His back is flat and pads are low to start. The Tackles never seem to put hand in dirt. Feiler is dicey. I am wtill watching for pattern, but I think he only puts his hand down when going forward (ie. run play with base or combo type blocking). He plays from a 2 point (and very high) on any run he has to move sideways (e.g., pull or zone blocking) and always hand up for High Hats. Again, that is one Q worth of sampling (i.e., very very small), but something I will continue to watch as I work through the entire season of tape. (EDIT: found exception to this in second q. still looking)

Your cat is the adult version of our Christmas kitten for sure. Ours likes to be in front of the screen too. Yours is a bit calmer though. I still have kitten mode (knocks water bottle over, chews threw cables, chases things on the screen).

Loved the Noll v. Cowher contrast. Irony is I bet you would get a similar answer from BC to MT only this time BC would be the hard nosed old school guy. LOL. times they are a'changing.

KG story is the podcast tale of the year for me. Fantastic and thanks to John for sharing.

From the interviews I've had thus far, the players nearly had a mutiny against Tomlin his first year, because he made them practice so hard. Much harder than Cowher. After year 1 he lightened up and allowed vets days off to rest injuries.
