The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting healthy, thanks to a well needed week off for the team captains. Now it’s back to playing the Cleveland Browns, again, but will the NFL have to postpone the game due to the Browns’ current Covid-19 outbreak? G.Stryker and Bill Washinski talk through all of the possibilities. You can ask […]

Great Job both of you! The Superbowl beard has filled out nicely. LOL.

Thanks for the discussion on Highsmith. Guy has flashed all year on both D and ST. Kid is a gamer. I hate the idea of losing Bud, but Highsmith is gonna be just fine.

some thoughts on Butler...he waited for a long time behind DL and is now in the chair. He may not be interested in moving, but more likely is age. He is north of 60. The trend these days seems to be around "young innovators". That is a knee jerk thought when you guys were discussing.

Good to see Bill on top of the corrections.

Thanks for playing swami. Agree on the Bills and physical nature of the ****/Rats tilt. Laughed when y'all said "play the winner". My thoughts exactly although I think the Rats gonna win but hope Bill's pick of TEN is right. Fook the Rats.

great stuff guys.

Peace.

best way to combat temper is good sleep. there is a study out that that suggest fiber helps with restorative sleep. you know what is high in fiber? beans.

just sayin.

so corn is a type of bean...sort of....and corn is used to make bourbon.....I'll just drink my fiber....

beans are fine though as long as they are not in chili....plan on cooking some red beans and rice this weekend...or maybe a gumbo.....

oh, hey, I didn't bring chili into this. thats on you bro.

Gumbo does sound pretty kicking though. Louisiana Hot sauce for final seasoning?

can't finish gumbo without that....

best part about gumbo is that it is the dish my wife makes best so she will do the cooking...after I help her with the roux, somehow that is my job

Instead of using flour or cornstarch for thickener i started using potato flakes.

roux can be tricky stuff. too short on the heat and you get that flour taste; too long on the heat and not enough thickening. its an art form.

You might have to ban me for my bringing facts into this discussion but:

Corn is not even close to being beans.

That is all...

shhhh.....that is why I threw in sort of....I had to connect beans to drinking bourbon somehow, so stretching the corn to bean relationship was my best way.

You're closer if you drink potato vodka, like I do!

well I do like vodka....

Me too. Not as much as whiskey, but It'll do. Luksuskava. Excellent, clean, triple distilled, potato, and clean!! Good to infuse with as well since it's so cheap and a high quality.
