Think we've done it before, but why not again during these boring times.

Terry. Until Ben wins 4 SBs.

Terry's ungrateful *** was made by playing on a team that was comprised of 50%+ HoF-level players. Ben's had most of his career wasted sitting behind a **** OL and shittier OC.

ill give you the OL.. Not the part about the OC. I didn't like what he did when he was here but just look at what he has done at Indianapolis and the cardinals since he left. He isn't "shittier" .

He was maligned as the OC in Indy for the same reasons as he was here. Long-developing passing plays and little ingenuity. As a HC and motivator, he's had success (Ben all but walked around with Bruce's schlong in his cheek). Running an offense, nope.

Terry was the best long ball thrower in the game. Sure, he had great players around him but he was also great. Wins are what is measured in this day and age and Terry was 4 for 4 in SB's. He was at his best in the playoffs, when it counted the most. You still have to give him the nod but not by much. If Ben wins another SB, even being one short of Terry, I'd go with Ben. Let's also not forget how hard it was to pass back then. The D could basically rape the receiver going downfield and no flag. Today, if you even breath on the receiver, you get flagged for something.

It has often been said give Ben the defense Terry had. How about you give Terry the rules Ben had. Keep in mind that Terry never lost a super bowl and called his own plays.

Guys, I can't buy this logic. You are entitled to your opinions. My opinion is that if Bradshaw had to play in this free agency era, he wouldn't have 4 either. That Steelers defense would have had teams backing up armored cars to get those Hall of Famers.

Bradshaw by a mile. Greatest big game QB ever, always a QB rating of at least 100 in every Super Bow, always a 4th quarter TD pass in every Super Bowl. Ben in contrast has been poor in Super Bowls , always outplayed by the other QB and had the lowest QB rating 21 to ever win a Super Bowl. Ben is also mediocre as a playoff QB with just 2 more TDs than INTs. The same argument which is not true about Bradshaw, the defense carried him, more than applies to Ben. The offense has never very good with Ben in the playoffs, Terry carried the 78 and 79 Steelers with an aging defense.
