Smith-Schuster’s Appeal Upheld; Iloka’s Reduced

I'm still pissed off about it. How the hell the bungles player gets off with just a fine defies logic. Frat boy Gronk does a non football dirtbag shot that looked like some 70's raiders bs and he gets 1 game, same as juju. They need some former players involved with the NFL judicial system.

Unfortunately,...... the guy that upheld JuJu's suspention is a former NFL player and he was known for his dirty play. Can't remeber his name right off hand, sorry.

John Runyan. He was a cheap shot artist of the highest caliber. And that was back before the word "cheap shot" meant a hard block or hard tackle. Back then you had to try to royally **** someone up to earn that title.

That's ******* depressing. I need to find that guys name and who he played for. That may say all we need to know.

John Runyan.....Offensive Line for the Eagles.

Sorry guys I loved BJR (Big John Runyan) as a player. He was gritty and played hard to keep his QBs safe. Sure he played with an edge, but back then, you needed edgy guys to keep your players safe, since the rules sure as hell didn't. We would have loved having a guy like that on our team.

Well as a player he was good. As a dealer of justice his scale is broken. I'd say they need a panel and not one man. Or maybe they can just stop with these asinine defensive rules of engagement. They're not saving anyone with this nonsense. They destroyed smashmouth football with it. In fact I can't think of a single Lombardi trophy the Steelers won by playing nice on defense.
