shocked level set to 1. lawrence phillips suspected of killing his cellmate

Anyone here been on the inside? The ******* who killed my best friend had feces thrown at him -- he deserves it -- but the point it's really really ugly. I wouldn't judge without knowing who story instead of an ESPN article that can be slanted.
 
Because I've never "been on the inside", I can't comment?
Lawrence Phillips has been a ticking time bomb since his woman beating days at Nebraska 20 years ago. My lack of incarceration has nothing to do with the fact that lp has been ticking from day one.

i've never been on the inside either, and I share your sentiment. I believe, though, that FSF was stating that we should wait to see what caused LP to snap "this time".
 
Way to choose Nebraska over Penn State for the 94 Championship, NCAA. It looks like a better decision with each passing year...

Looking over my statement, trying to see where I said "skialta you cannot comment".

I just would prefer to know the circumstances before I judge, was his life in danger for instance. After the BS that came out about Ben in Midgeville with the off the wall stories -- I am not going to rush to judge any story I hear without corroboration
 
Best thing that ever happened to the Steelers was when the Rams drafted this guy LOL
 
Just read the article, no discussion of evidence. No indication of what transpired or that somebody "snapped". As I see it is roommate was also a convicted criminal that was likely not going to get out and the fact that he is dead is a win for society. Another inmate died as well unrelated to Phillips and another inmate is suspected. Two wins for society.

Makes me all weepy just thinking of LP's trials and tribulations under Dick Vermiel.
 
Man man man I remember they tried to put Bettis in the troubled bucket with this dick. I didnt like Phillips @ Nebraska. This guy was running around with a huge red flag over his head that screamed 'IM A PIECE OF ****".

I havent been inside, but my brother has most of his life. He just paroled out of Kern Valley a few months ago. Its not like anything you can or want to imagine.
