Shazier doubtful for Thursday

Not much you can do on a short week. If he's not back for the next game I'd more concerned. Gotta make those Thursday dollars
 
I'm guessing a separated shoulder. Needs time to heal and regain strength
 
we find a force in the middle of the D and then he gets injured. ****** luck, he didn't even have any history of injuries during college

well, good thing for us, is that Crockett Gilmore is officially being listed as "out" for tomorrow night. That's HUGE, he's a big target who looks to be challenging for their TE1 spot, and it would be just like this team to let a guy like Gilmore introduce himself to the world on Pittsburgh's home field with the performance of a lifetime (especially considering that we wouldn't have Shazier's coverage on him if he DID play)

I look for them to goto Max Williams a lot now and I bet he becomes the new #1 TE sooner rather than later.
 
This kid can flat out play but his parts disintegrate too rapidly....Just save his *** for the playoffs...shut him down because if he returns it will be for 2 or 3 games then its spectator again for him.
 
Put him in some bubble wrap already, damn. Call it snake bit or whatever you want. The dude can't stay on the field.
 
Sucks because Shazier has legitimate all-pro potential. I'm still holding out hope he can be a durable player though.

His style. He had a monster game last time he played. The more tackles you make the more vulnerable you are to injury. Kind of like Troy.

#Steelers LB Ryan Shazier (neck, shoulder) is out vs. #Ravens, but he’s quickly improving & gaining strength. Should return next Monday
