Senior Bowl Discussion

Slow minded in the head, Rude. A Dunning- Krueger type who think he knows more than he does. Best position? Tackling Dummy.

My scouting report on a guy who has 25,130+ posts
Good self evaluation of yourself. Might want to add best window licking youtube highlight watcher around.

Grant Stuard - LB - Houston
He may be one of the smallest linebackers at this year's Senior Bowl but Grant Stuard is a very tenacious player. He isn't afraid to get physical with anybody and will play through the whistle. Stuard has exceptionally quick hands when it comes to pass-rushing and will fight off the opponent’s hands on his way into the backfield. Stuard does have a quick first step and can beat players with that speed as he did against Michigan running back Chris Evans. He could struggle with the more prominent offensive players but playing on the outside might get him a few more reps as a pass-rusher in the NFL. However, when it comes to playing in coverage, Stuard can easily get turned around and lose his momentum on the play. Stuard was matched up against Missouri running back Larry Roundtree; he got all twisted up and stumbled backward, giving up the catch on the play. However he seems to have some tight hips and can’t change directions on a dime, so working on agility will help improve his coverage skills.

Houston linebacker Grant Stuard was all over the field in the team periods. He is undersized but figures to be a special teams ace in the NFL. Stuard puts himself into a very good position and flies to the football.

doubt he would be an starter at any point, but a fill in guy or a special teams player he could excel. he will likely be around to be picked up as a UDFA....and he would be worth a shot

Should be interesting to watch several good college QBs in this game: Jones, Book, Ehlinger, Mond. Too bad Trask is hurt.

I really liked Ehlinger as a freshman and sophomore at Texas, but his career then seemed to go a bit downhill. If the Steelers don't go with a quarterback early in the draft, I wouldn't mind seeing them take a flier on him in a late round if he's available.

Yeah I had Ehlinger in one mock he looks like a possible sleeper. Will be interesting if they take a QB in this draft. If one is a clear BPA they should.

What pick do the Steelers have, 24? I lost interest in the last 6 weeks of the season.

The speculation is fun, but never seems to turn out as expected. There is a reason that the majority of the other teams draft ahead of the Steelers every year, always some bone head picks by them to make it interesting, and have the Steelers sprinting to the podium 10 seconds after there name is called..

OLBer Patrick Jones is on their radar ( met with him) which could be a round 2 pick. Good speed. Decent production. Coverage capable. That could push RB or T to round three. Or they could be looking at Jones in three. But I think late in three he is off the board.

1 rb we can cross of zamir white returning to uga his teamate G/C Ben Cleveland sat out sr practice with knee injury powerful blocker

Rumor that some teams have dropped Penn State LB Micah Parsons off their boards because of a hazing incident. This is something that happened years ago so it seems more like something a team puts out hoping he'll fall to them later in the draft.

I was doing some reading and watching some videos on Turner. He can play anywhere on the line. He abused BYU's OL and they are a pretty good unit. I also like his pursuit. He made some tackles downfield that a guy with his size shouldn't be making. This draft is filled with a lot of edge players but Turner gives you a lot more options.
