My neighbor and I were talking the other day, and I wondered: How many of our starters have been taken out by our own team mates? And by count, who, on our own team, as taken out the most players? Say in the last..5-10 years.

I was just curious if anyone kept track of that sort of thing. Injuries caused by Decastro, or Gilbert, etc. I'm not looking for blame, or to look at each injury and quantify it with "well, he was pushed into so-and-so and fell backwards onto X players knee". I just wanted to get some info on the subject.

L. Jones -> Gilbert right?
Pouncey twice by the same person?

I can only recall DeCastro on Pouncey 2013

Timmons took out both Shazier and Ike in one year.

Bell got Pouncey in preseason it was Decastro last time. I still find it hard to believe it wasn't on purpose when you watch the replay, but since nothing has ever come from that theory, I will let it rest. I still think AB's flip was totally ridiculous. Great to be excited with a big play. Even a celebration, but really I'm pretty sure he could have tore his Achilles or ACL on that landing. That was a hell of a lot of force.
