The Pittsburgh Steelers’ long-time head coach, Mike Tomlin, made it clear he was done with coaching after the 2025 season ended. Tomlin couldn’t break the team’s playoff drought, which has persisted since the 2016 season. At 53 years old, he felt it was time for a new voice in the Steel City. Following his decision, the Steelers verbally agreed to hire former Super Bowl-winning head coach, Mike McCarthy.
