This wasn't one of them. Davis missed virtually all of last season due to injury.

Didn't follow close enough to realize he was hurt all year, just assumed he was on the bench.

Unfortunate AC Joint/ collarbone tear in the Seattle game, opened up a great opportunity when Miami was shopping Minkha. He was their top DB in that 2018 class and Miami thought top 5 1st rounder with Ben gone. Davis was going to have a great year IMO, as he was settling in nicely at FS towards the end of 2018, his first year at the position with a rookie SS. His second year at FS would have been a big jump. But getting Minkha was a steal.
