Yea, thought he was going to be a nice addition and possibly a starter down the road. He wasn’t cut out for corner and the full time switch to safety looked like a great move for the kid. Also like this decision to take a break, regardless if it’s a year, two or forever. Good luck Ryan.

Yep-wish Watts well in his future endeavors

Exactly why I wanted Dan Jackson with the first pick of 7th rather than the small, unathletic nepotism pick. Our safety depth is minimal and the kid is a natural leader, something I absolutely love in a safety.

Jackson will be an NFL player. At least solid sub if not eventually starting. Good instincts, can cover and can hit. The Lions got a baller late.
 
He looked good in black and gold, briefly.
 
He didn't mess up his neck because of poor tackling form too, did he?

From what I was able to find and see, he went in low on a RB, and it looks like he got caught up in the legs of the OL or the RB. He was seizing after the hit. A lions OL alerted the officials.
