The hit on Welker was the scariest hit I have personally ever seen. I seriously thought to myself Welker may be dead.

BOTH hits were awesome and yes, HARD hitting football of old.

Salute the nation

Ryan Clark was my fave Steeler cause of those hits. Definately underrated in his prime. I enjoy hearing his opinion on espn. Unlike most athletes he is well spoken and delivers points. Man, I miss that guy

I remember back when we lost Chris Hope to the Titans after Superbowl XL, and signed Clark away from Washington, afterwards. I thought, "damnit! now we have this 'clark' guy instead of hope??!"

...boy am i glad now, that we ended up getting him; loved me some RC!

Speaking of Clark, his hit on McGahee was the hardest hit I've ever seen. I thought he was dead.

So did McGahee. Brought Ray Lewis to his knees. As someone posted later, Ray was praying "Not Willie, Lord, take me instead".

I always knew he was gonna be a very good analyst. He is articulate and has good insights. Unlike a lot of x-players, he has insightful commentary.

Well, you were not wrong about losing a good player in Hope, and I too didn't regard Clark highly when they signed him. But he definitely proved to be a wise signing.
