Largest individual fine given of the 33 players fined. More than Garrett, although he doesn’t get game checks remainder of the year. I call BS....

Not a single fine for the browns players helmet to helmet hits either.

Rooneys issued a public appology for the incident, what about the browns owner.............................. crickets

AND the player actually ejected from game, I always thought that was a one game suspension, especially it being a head shot infraction. wNwFeL

A couple of key comparisons here. The guy who hit Mason in a cowardly way from behind which really took things to a whole other level in terms of all the other participants makes 800k in base salary which roughly is the exact same fine as Rudolph. Plus I cannot see where Philip Rivers got fined for basically doing the exact same thing. Getting up in someone's grill. The difference was that Phillip was mad cause he lost. Not cause he got rag dolled. This league is a ****** joke.

If I'm Mason I'd file a slander lawsuit on principle alone. Having your good name slandered by some ******* is worth it.

Just my opinion.

If anyone from the NFL could tell me that Tom Brady would be fined 50k for the EXACT same thing under the exact same circumstances I'd laugh in their **** faces. There is literally not one chance in a billion that would happen. I watched what happened another 5 times on top of the other 15 times before. HE DID NOTHING WRONG. He got mauled after a late and ridiculous hit on him. He tried to get this piece of **** off of him. What the **** was he supposed to do?

Actually all three Browns were hit with fines. Randall for $28k for his hit on Johnson, Thomas $21k for his hit on Mason, and Williams $28k for his on Juju.

Goodell and all his relatives gonna get extra turkeys and hams for all the holidays

I don't get how Feiler was fined for entering a fighting area, he was already right there.
Yeah Feiler should get money. He protected the shield. If he isn't there Garrett probably brains Rudolph. Like what is the 62 year old ref gonna do. They were well past whistles and flags.

You have to see this for what it is. Some talking heads calling for some kind of punishment for Rudolph because "he started it." Garrett claims Rudolph used a racial slur. The NFL fines Rudolph more than anyone else involved in this incident. It is nothing more than appeasement. This way they can say "Hey, we fined the white guy more than we fined anyone else. That has to count for something, right?" Just the NFL trying to have it both ways and save face because no matter what they do or don't do, someone or some group is going to be pissed.

Kind of excessive.

Rudolph's fine is way too large no matter his salary. $50k for what? Seriously? Garrett instigated the entire thing with his late hit and holding Rudolph on the ground after the play was over. Almost instantly when Rudolph tried to get up, Garrett started grabbing at Rudolph's face mask. Even when Rudolph ran toward Garrett after he ripped his helmet off, Rudolph was just yelling. He didn't throw a punch or even touch Garrett. This is beyond ridiculous. The league becomes more of a joke every week. They won't follow through with fining people like this. They would need to fine someone $50k this week because there will be someone that will "instigate" someone else who will actually get a flag thrown on them. Complete ******* joke!

Well he wasn't barred from a game. Is a game check from him cheaper than 55k? You tell me.

A few people have said it was a late hit. I watched it over and over too and Myles hit him exactly the same time Rudolph released the ball. What pissed Mason off was that this thug followed through with the takedown slam knowing full well Mason no longer had the ball = unnecessary roughness.

Myles Garrett, Browns: Unnecessary roughness, Unsportsmanlike conduct, Fighting, Removing Helmet of Opponnent, Using Helmet as Weapon, indefinite unpaid suspension plus $45,623

That said, whether late hit or unnecessary roughness what difference at this point does it make.

****, Garrett will miss the remaining 6 games this year and as they stated in the suspension, it is for the remainder of the year and the playoffs. So, the league will count the playoffs even though the Clowns won't be going. They will, then, let Garrett back at the start of next year. You can bet on that. They don't have the balls to stand their ground when anyone mentions the word race. It's complete BS but it is the libtard world we currently live in. Garrett will then continue his dirty play, just like Suh did throughout his career and the NFL will continue to turn the other cheek.

You are correct. Late is inaccurate. Garrett was coming face at him. He knew he didn't have the ball anymore. He could have just grabbed him. Instead he twisted him and gator rolled him slamming him down. Then he rolled again to get on top of him. Something that pissed off Conner earlier in the game. As all that **** happened you can see Feiler and Decastro looking at the ref like what the **** is this. I'm sorry I could watch that video 5000 times. I see a guy trying to dominate him. Rudolph making a feeble attempt to get out of it and the guy losing his mind. I mean **** if you don't say that Earl Thomas' hit was dirty it was certainly illegal and remember how that whole scene looked. That was a 20k fine. Rivers went at Hilton the exact same way. No fine. Like to me now everytime someone grabs a facemask in a scrum (which will happen today) it should be 50k. They are fining him for the optics of how everything looked after the very minor thing he did. If I'm him I walk in with four or five hours of NFL film of events exactly like this that didn't end in this kind of debacle and make Thrash watch all of it.
