Roster cuts

sign Owen Daniels a master at working the seems of getting open and good hands use James and Johnson as the other blocking TE in ace sets.
 
Good to see both Fort and Matakevich make the roster, both capable, promising players. Same goes for Jordan Dangerfield, will be awesome to see him knocking helmets off on ST's.

I wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade at TE over Grimble and on the interior O-line over Hubbard/Finney.

Otherwise, I love how this roster is shaping up heading into the season, particularly with the addition of Gilbert. Go Steelers!

I missed the cutoff, but I was going to switch Gilbert for Shabazz
 
Also, tomorrow when we place golson in IR designated to return, we will pick up Shabazz if we don't grab another cast off cb
 
Coolie is in a state of denial right now. Ayers gets the clean cut. I guess there is the PS for the kid.

I have no real issues here. Grant likley got pushed due to the trade for GIlbert..
 
Ayers and Grant have what two good plays, not enough to help offense or defense. We need to find one guy that can give us some field position in return game.
 
Rasco as big as he looked was terrible, spent a lot of time just engaged with tackle and no thought of trying to make a play, Maybe all he wants is practice squad as last year. wast of energy there.
 
Who gets dumped after Bell comes back or is there a fair assumption that someone will be hurt by week 4. Still if a DB goes down has to be filled by another DB.

Coolie is a smart guy.....he knew it was coming...he didn't have Ayers on his 53 man prediction

Coolie is also still pumped up after his Coogs kick the **** out of the #3 Sooners.....

for the number of touches Ayers had he did well.....

neither rogers or Ayers showed enough to take the return game away from Brown
 
I admit I didn't watch much pre-season, but what did Grimble do?

The third person approach is a nice touch. Ayers could clear the waiver wire and end up on the PS where he could develop into a solid player for us
