He played OG for Buffalo in 2004, the guys on the radio asked about the Bills mafia and their fans. He said I'll never put them up there with the best fans. He said we(bills) started off 2004 like 2 and 6, then ran off 7 straight wins, sitting at 9-6 with a shot at the playoffs. The Steelers coming in with nothing to play for and resting alot of guys. He said we were fired up, on a roll, late December game in Buffalo. The offense was being announced, he said he go announced, ran out of the tunnel and there were terrible towels everywhere, half the stadium. He said, "his thought was WTF is this!" He's like we freaking ended up losing to Tommy Maddox and most of their back ups. He said he'll never forget seeing all those towels in Buffalo, when they had everything to play for and the Steelers had nothing to play for and Steeler fans were everywhere.

Ross is a pretty cool dude who has been doing various podcasts for a while now.
He doesn't slant towards any one team and calls it like he sees it.

yeah he is. He has a pretty good deal this weekend, Army/Navy game Saturday, then Steelers/Bills Sunday for westwood one.

Tuckers a good man...but his early morning show on Sirius was just not good..

I went to many games before I ever made one in Pittsburgh. It was about the same really. The only exception was the first time I saw them in San Diego in 1980, after we one our fourth sb. That was the height of Air Coreal, and Dan Fouts. I was pretty alone in those stands.

Love the Steelers fans. Our base is second to none.

I remember that game. If I recall that is one of the 1st times we saw the potential Harrison had. I think he had a fumble recovery or a int returned for a td. I remember thinking we are certainly set to get to the big game if our backups can beat starters.....

**** the Patriots

I ended up going to Qualcomm that day to watch the Chargers and the chiefs and saw the game ending in a luxury suite. couldn't believe our backups beat them.

I remember that game, it was a lot of fun.

And whoever said it, Ross is a good dude and a good follow on Twitter. Never looking for a hot take like so many sports personalities out there.

He once shared on his program that perhaps his all time favorite player just might me James Harrison. He proceeded to then tell why: the man’s approach, how he hit, his presence.
