Happy for Nix. The FB positon might never be what is was, but I think it will be making a comeback of sorts as teams are figuring out these faster linebackers aren't very good at taking on blockers.

Apparently, that's not how it's done anymore. The Steelers are the coaches for the AFC, and the Saints in the NFC.

There used to be a Playoff Bowl for the second-place teams of the NFL’s Eastern and Western conferences. Vince Lombardi called it "the S*** Bowl" and called it "a losers' bowl for losers." That is what the Pro Bowl has become since it is made up of players who aren't in the Super Bowl. I can't imagine why anyone still wants to participate and take a chance on ending their career on a freak injury. If you can get injured in practice, you certainly can get injured in a contact game.
