Just lock the Steelers in for the Hall of Fame game. Put them up against Dallas to recognize a classic rivalry to honor this year's Hall of Fame class.

Pittsburgh coming off a **** year, All new receivers with virtually no time with Ben aside from JuJu who looks to have regressed badly. A hurt Conner, an ineffective Samuels and Snell.

Well, the defense will at least keep the other team under 28. We can likely count on that.

Edit: Never fear though, our brilliant, "never done lost a season" head coach will surely see the team through any bumps or obstacles.
 
More Steeler game play! I’ll take it, prefer to have it at the end of a season, but I guess seeing more duck and MR in summer is ok

I hear yaz Ironcitysteelers, because we haven't made playoffs in two years is a prerequisite of them filming. You can bet your sweet *** HARD KNOCKS is salavitating over this option. By far the MOST popular team to be elgible. I think there is an option of declining under certain circumstances but I guess it's a wait and see.

You know all of those players won't be playing in the HOF game right? It's the first preseason game of the year.
 
I'm 100% for this. Put us in the HOF game. Gives us one extra preseason game to get work done.
 
Ugh... waste of time game. Remember the Viking game a few years back? Like watching two practice squads w/their fans in the team uni. No thanks.
 
Mediocre teams need all the exposure they can get.

Put Troy and Faneca in with Cowher and make it a weekend, sure, why not
 
I heard that ARII will use the HOFG as a way to get away from doing Hard Knocks.

On another note: If I'm HBO, I'm pushing so hard to have one of the storied franchises this year. Compared to the other teams mentioned, the Steelers are too popular and intriguing not to be featured.
 
Steeler's fans are a cash cow and Hard Knocks is going to do everything they can to build a show around that organization. I've drifted so far from the NFL, but if this means that I get a good look inside that locker room, I'm watching every second of that **** show Tomlin has built.

Ben working his way back from injury, JuJu having a down year without Ben, the star Watt is turning into and the thousands of fans and tradition of going to St. Vincent. There's plenty of story lines to go with, unless Rooney can get them out of it, I'm just assuming it's a done deal with hard knocks coming here, I mean they'd be idiots not to.
 
Cowboys would also be an intriguing forum for Hard Knocks. they sucked enough *** throughout the season, the firing of their coach, and all of the Drama that surrounds their idiotic. loud mouthed owner who thinks he knows everything about football and you have a recipe for some great tv time.

Edit: I just saw the criteria and that leaves the Crybabies off the possible list. Hey, here's a novell idea - how about Rooney fire our dumb *** dictionary eating coach and hire a new one to keep us off the show. Win-win, baby!
