They have a chip on their shoulder, they've been disrespected and underestimated by the media, and they have a team-first type of chemistry we haven't seen in quite some time. They have as good a chance at number seven this year as they have ever had, I like their chances as long as Tomlin can stay out of the way and they can stay healthy.

I understand the us against the world theme but I haven't seen many media that think the Steelers are going to tank this year. What few sports shows I watch they are all picking the Steelers to win the AFCN. Some have even talked about a SB appearance.

OTHERS have them ranked at 19 with the likes of the browns / titans / chargers to name a few in front of them. So I guess it's what you read to determine who is and isn't dissing them.

Yea, I don't read or watch a lot of sports shows any more. I will watch a bit of sportsnet and a couple of football talk shows.

Most that I have seen have the Browns or Ravens winning the AFC North and Steelers not even making the playoffs, not to mention all the Ben bashing the media did during the off-season well giving clown and meveon a pass.

Like that Ben stayed classy, when asked about the 2019 receiver crew, unlike Oakland's new headache.

Like I said, I don't watch a lot of them. I saw Speak for Yourself with 4 guys and they all thought the Steelers would be better next year. I read an SI column that had them winning the division. There hardly ever a uniform prediction for NFL teams. The pats**** use the "They don't think we can win" card all the time.

Speaking of sports shows, anybody remember NFL Matchup? Best breakdowns of games, schemes, player matchups that I ever watched probably. Sal Pal, Jaws & Merril Hoge the regulars.

Yes...loved that show!

Unfortunately these days...just talking about the x's & o's of football is blase and boring to the social media and fantasy football conscience of the millennial's today....

Us old guys that still love the 3 downs and a cloud of dust football mentality, and what the game used to be all about, are so not "with it" any longer, that we have become dinosaurs...

The game is now about look at me players, off the field drama, and social media instant gratifications...that the NFL has become a big soap opera...

If you guys are so confident why don't you place a Vegas wager on the Steelers winning the superbowl and post a picture of the ticket on here?
Neither will happen.

This gets me hyped!!!

I thought being fully greased down and naked while mowing your lawn at sunset was what got you hyped.................................... NOW you go and change thing.......WTF

Same here Vader, I don't watch nearly as much either, that goes fore the NFL as well, UNLESS it's STEELERS related.
