I think the Claypool and Ebron combination should really open up the offense. I think BigBen's deep ball will still warrant monitoring that and the rust he will need to shake off. I am hoping they focus in on the short to intermediate game plan with a healthy run mixture. I know Ben loves the bombs away approach. I prefer he shorten that leash to not test the arm to the max. Is this considered living in my fears? Maybe...

Ben was more a dink and dunk passer in 2018

I'm not asking that he throw deep every time, but he needs to do it sometimes and be successful at it .... At least more than in 2018 ... I prefer to see Ben's 2017 version, especially in the second half of the season when he had 20 TD and 5 INT in his last 7 games.

Here is your compromise Slash .....and yes you are living in your fears (Tomlin will be disappointed) lol

Ben can throw the ball 50 yards up in the air and only 20 yards downfield ( Claypool and Ebron can highpoint the ball all day) metriculate down the field with 6 jump balls ending in a TD, wash, rinse & repeat
