By Justin McGonigle www.SteelerNation.com The Steelers could get a big boost to their middle linebacker position on Sunday in the form of Robert Spillane. Spillane has been out since the Washington game with a knee injury. Getting Spillane back would be an instant upgrade and would provide a third piece for a rotation with Avery […]

Another nice article Justin and thank you.

Spillane is definitely going to help. I hope Big Dot retains the starting position as it seems he just does a noticeably better job.

I'm guessing Dotson will still start, largely in part to Feiler's injury is an odd one (pectoral) and even if they didn't reveal the extent of the injury, its the 2nd time in 3 years he's faced such an unusual injury.

Although it would never be publicly stated, the fact that he is a FA (1-year tender) might factor in to their decision.

Great news to have Spillane back out there running things with the green dot. I expect the defense to perform better with him in there.

I started my tape watching and OL grading last week. I am only through the first game so a long way to go. One thign I noted in that game is Feiler is much better when he base blocks or pulls. Zone blockign is not his strength (nor was a strenght for the entire line that game). Time will tell if that settles down. I will have some articles and my grades to post in a couple weeks most likely. working through a family issue at the moment so that has my attention but will have some grades for y'all to consume for the off season fun.

Thanks in advance Hoot, take care of the family thing first and fore-most.

They will all grade out better as SB champs!
