Doesn't seem like are pursuing him, but it would be a major upgrade.

Black and gold? He went with red and gold

He just signed with the 49ers, 3year deal

Steelers gave him a cool 100 mil, I don't think he is sweating too much financially.

Just what we would need....another loud mouth in an already screwed up locker room. Glad he's going to San Fransisco.

I would have been ok with a vocal leader who actually knows what he is doing on D.

if they can upgrade S I will be just as happy.

I tell ya I am very intrigued with Sutton, if he will get a shot. I know they value him as a corner would be the roadblock.

But if their BPA is a corner in the draft in 1 or 2... and not S. I could see it shaking out like this.

Although I keep thinking Harrison is the pick in 1. With the other two Alabama prospects probably off the board.

Thing I like about this draft is probably a damn good S or CB will be sitting their at 1 if not a ILBer. Or the wildcard DT.

I would have passed on Sherman. He is definitely past his time. I heard he has to play well to get a lot of the money from San Fran, so we will see. If anything I may have tried him at safety, but for no where near the deal he got from SF.

Sherman's contract is reported to be performance based. Good move by the 49ers. Would like to see us try something like that on one of these guys.
