O'Donnell was ****.

That is all.

I had to turn it off.

Entirely too painful.

First part of the game, Gregg LLoyd got man-handled by their big OT. Then he (Gregg) settled in and was more himself.

Thank god Neil got his nice free agent contract after that game and didn't have to return.

That was probably the biggest crushing loss of this Steeler fans life. I was waiting since 1981 for the "One For The Thumb". I can't believe it was 10 more years.

The funny part is I saw them play the first year expansion team in Jacksonville and they lost. It was early in the season and I remember it being hotter than hell outside. I would have never guessed in a million years they would have made the superbowl after that.

A Dallas assistant was interviewed after the game and commented on how Brown was out of position on both picks. I think it was the 2nd he was supposed to have Hastings who was running by himself down the field.

Onside kick was an awesome call. I have not rewatched. To painful. Same with the chargers afc championship game.

It's a bit ironic that Neil got them to the playoffs with a huge game against Chicago that turned the season around. IMO he got rattled early in the SB and never really recovered.

That Mother ****** was paid off. I'll go to my grave believing that. Bam Morris was running all over them, Emmit wasn't doing **** against the D, and one of the most accurate QB's in the NFL that year throws two obvious interceptions to ONE ******* guy who just so happened to be out of position on both plays? **** that piece of ****.

can't even watch highlights of that game, i turn it off immediately. Smith had a long run on the opening drive, then after than we held him to just over 2 ypc after that.

Brutal to know we out played them in that game and gave it away with those two picks. What followed at QB between there and Ben is something I do not look forward to.

Some of us are just wired that way. I have a really good long term memory that brings stuff up pretty vivid when i think about it.

That is what a lot of fans said back then. Multiple reports that the WR ran the wrong route. But a QB has to know when to throw it and when not to. I always thought Neil just pulled off the biggest choke job in the history of sports. Then tucked his tail and ran. I could probably start to watch it then once I saw that first INT I would probably click quickly.

I hear yaz Steelr4ever as I have similar memory but also don't hold onto negative things. Neither is wrong, just one takes more effort than the other. Durring the off season I like to watch old games, including SBs. I use a rowing machine durring work outs as I'm an advid KAYAK racer. I'll be rowing for an hour plus but it's easy as I YouTube a game while doing so. Kind of nice watching some of the "old games",.... The way REAL football was meant to be played.

The picks were merely the coup de grace. Neil was garbage pretty much from the get go. I think he was just WAY too wound up. He was playing tighter than ****.

You can totally see after those last couple playoff games why people were clamoring for Stewart. What a clusterfuck THAT became over the next couple years.
