Report: Steelers WR Antonio Brown fined for touchdown dance

Unbelievable! This is still entertainment right? It's a game, right? I could see if he was protesting police officers or the government. . .
 
As others have pointed out, it's the hypocrisy of the No Fun League.

Cut from the touchdown dance to the 18th Cialis commercial of the game.

Guess everyone will have to watch the P*ts* celebrations to see what's appropriate according to der fuhrer.
 
It's like Goodell will not be happy until every single game unfolds exactly the same way, with the same plays, same yardage totals, same final score, etc. This product is so watered down, sanitized, corporate - they might as well not even be real people out there playing anymore. God I hate Führer Gödell
 
I have no issue with celebrating, but he knew the rule,I knew the rule, anything that has a sexual tone to it will be flagged, it's really pretty simple. He can celebrate other ways, and he has before and not been flagged. If he doesn't mind the fine then keep doing it, I doubt the 15 yards will cost us a game, but Ben and Heyward have talked to him about it and he didn't listen to them.

Has for the NFL flagging that but showing cialas commercials, that's not the same, the guy in the commercial isn't making thrusting gestures to his wife like will ferrel in wedding crashers
 
there's so many rules, flags and fines anymore, it's getting to be unwatchable. Dancing has sexual overtones, you can't get around that. Might as well do away with celebrations after a TD. The league has their panties in a wad for the wrong things and nothing for things they should.
 
I'm good with touchdown dances. I'm good with celebrating a sack. What I would like to see them crack down on is the celebrating and signifying on every mundane play. every reception or tackle doesn't need to be celebrated. If you're going to fine a guy for celebrating a score don't you kind of have to find a guy for celebrating a 3 yard gain?
 
I have no problem with the flag and the 15yd penalty. To fine players for 'dancing' is un-*******-believable!
 
Did Gronk get fined for this?

It is...isn't? I mean who would of thought that after the first time he did it and got fined that the second time he did it he would again get fined.....again? And you are spot on to bring the whole cop protest and gov't into it. The NFL is so freak'n backwards anymore.
 
His last couple of dances have been embarrassing...

Should of been fined more than he was.
 
I hope he keeps doing it.
 
If they're going to fine people they should fine the stupid ******** kneeling during the national anthem. I guarantee that pisses people off more than some look at me end zone dancing nonsense.
 
The league is completely biased against him and/or the Steelers. Fining him and not fining everyone else that does a celebration is pure insanity.

Doing that, they'd run the risk of being labeled insensitive towards whatever it is they're protesting. That's tantamount to murdering babies in today's world.
