Report: Mike Tomlin Tests Positive for COVID-19

NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport is reporting Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and is currently away from team facilities. Team officials would not confirm the specific case but did say coaches and personnel were sent home last week when positive cases started popping up. Steeler Nation is praying for a speedy recover for Tomlin, the coaches and personnel, and any others impacted by this.

#Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was diagnosed with COVID-19 & is away from the team facility, sources say. A team spokesman would not confirm the specific case, but did say members of the coaching & personnel staffs were sent home last week after a couple positives came up.

Do you remember the pic I showed yinz about Tomlin dining outdoors? Most chalked it up to no big deal. But you keep rolling that no big deal dice and perhaps one day it is a big deal.

I missed the post but I'm in full agreeance with you. I keep my self segregated from Supe and Orge, regularly, so that I can stay out of trouble...

Yep 500,000 (soon to be) are dead from Covid. I am sure their family and friends appreciate people that feel it is safe to do as they wish. They get Covid and spread it to others that die. I feel it is selfish that people can't wait out a vaccine but maybe that's just me.
 
Obviously, I shouldn't have been going out in public as often as I did. It was my mistake and I embrace that. I will learn from it and move forward. Hopefully our whole team can benefit from this mistake.

This is me----Mask...sanitize....social distance...I get health screened at work everyday and I test as much as possible...

I'm just following the science, frequenting establishments that are open and considered safe by my Governor, supporting my local businesses and hard working Americans that are glad to see me walk through the doors..

If I'm "permitted" to go to work without "killing" anybody..
Then I don't see why I cant attend local establishments that are willing and able to accommodate me and my family safely..

See someone who gets it. It isn't a problem for a lot of people until it is a problem.

Yeah your Governor knows what is safe and what isn't. I bet if you contacted Covid and gave it to someone and they died you would be singing a different tune. Sorry this is just a selfish approach that many have I simply disagree with.
 
We all have choices to make...
I choose my path...I have to interact with others...

I have to go to work where I interface with many people, go to gas station, supermarket, baby sit my granddaughter occasionally, eat out once a week etc...

How do you not do these things?
Curious to know?

You don't "have to" you choose to. Let us be honest. What I choose to do is sacrifice my wants until people have their shots. Then I will go out but still do it safely. I do it not for me but for my family, and friends, and people I never met. Knowing I won't cause their deaths from preventable selfish acts brings me peace. How could it not?
 
On the list the only thing you have to do is go to work. Other things can be tweaked to be safer. You either choose to or don't. But make no bones about there is safe ways to do things and there is a selfish approach.
 
The issue that you and I have is....
...what we consider "safe"...and socially acceptable..

I have followed the COVID "marching orders" and have not violated anything from the government or the scientific communities recommendations..

Again----I Mask...sanitize....social distance...I get health screened at work everyday and test as needed...
That is my COVID lifestyle...

The COVID is here to stay....vaccines are out and the treatments are showing great advances...
Its time ......hasn't China kicked our ***** enough already?!?

You do remember that the Rona requires 6' for social distancing. You should check with the CDC as well as Animal Control regarding appropriate distances for STD's when dealing with Supe/Ogre.

Oh stop. I've had a year of this horseshit. I'm glad I live in Florida. Glad we're not destroying everyone's life here. Unlike California& New York and it's done dick for them. ******* are all moving here.

If I could like this a million times I would. having just lost my Dad to Covid.

You are right you have the freedom to be selfish or not. It isn't communism to be smart. To have compassion for your fellow man. Not a matter of being scared I have a lifetime of doing crazy ****. I just choose to be safe. What is funny or not so funny is in a short amount of time 500,000 people just in this country alone are gone and people want to dismiss it like it is nothing. The same people that would be singing a different tune if it killed their wife, son,daughter, mother, or father. Let one of those things happen and report back what is bullshit and what is not. Perhaps this anger some of you have gets channeled differently. A man made killing machine we aren't responsible for but we can be a little safe about who we give it to. Or not. I know personally no cloud will be on my head if a loved one gets it. I know I will sleep soundly knowing I wasn't the reason they got it. Everyone has to pick their path in life. Hopefully whatever any of you choose doesn't bite you in the arse.
