Colbert should go back to Detroit he could do some real good there. It’s time his son Dan takes over in Pittsburgh. He’s the unsung hero of gathering talent for the Steelers it’s time he gets promoted and time for a new head coach he can work with that can match wits and the energy levels of the new coaches and players in our division. Tomlin is done here. He Had good run but he is finished the only question left is “do the Rooney’s take a week to figure that out or another 12 years?”

Colbert is under contract through 2021. I doubt we’d get a lot but I’d assume some form of compensation would be in order. I’m guessing this is starting to mean Ben is gone. Whoever takes over will want to clean house. Unfortunately, Tomlin won’t go because Art the Deuce.

Imagine if Colbert goes to Detroit for a 3rd round pick and Omar works out a trade for Tomlin to the Jets for the 23rd. That gives us back to back first round picks and the 8th overall in the third. Could really build fast with that many picks.

They never interviewed Colbert and I think they interviewed plenty of other possibilities. If Colbert goes anywhere it will be into retirement IMO.

Could this be mutual since Omar is interviewing, is management trying to keep one of those other men by making a vacancy, a win-win deal.

word i heard today was Steelers have not received a request from DET to interview KC. That is a must. Granted, that was a report (I think Dulac tweet, but could be wrong - hectic day) and not official statement from the team.

maybe after his contract going back there would be like rebuilding the browns or jags. I see him staying
