Ravens might be regretting that trade with the Steelers

they got calias for next to nothing. *******

I was hoping the Ravens kept him. He's old as crap and IMHO wasn't going to be as productive at this age moving forward. I think this actually helps them.

Good thing they missed out on Hargrave though. That would have been a much scarier pickup for them.

All trades and signings (even Ebron for us) are still contingent on them passing their physical, whenever that is.

Ok ....I see your point ...... forget what I said earlier.....:encouragement:

I like the addition of Wormley. I think he's going to be a solid player. He's not going to be at the level Hargrave was-but. He's a smart player and can create opportunity for the backers to get to the quarterback/ball. He's an upgrade over McCullers (if they put Wormley at DT). I think he's a short term role player for now that can help this front seven on a rotational basis.

Two things here for me Cope.

A) I hated losing Hargrave since I think the guy is a real talent.

B) we never used him nearly enough with Tomlin’s stupid 2 DL sets. He will be a force in Philly.

Yep. All you have to do is look for an official announcement from the team to know if they're signed or not.

One thing to remember, Wormley is not near the pass rusher that Hargrave was, but he is by far a better run defender, and that is what we need with a healthy Tuitt/Hargrave

Like Watt yesterday. All of the articles about him being signed came back live. And, then they actually showed him signing his contract.

He is disciplined and he has good technique. Uses leverage the way you want to see an interior defensive lineman use. Agreed- he won’t get the sack numbers of Hargrave and I don’t expect him to. I like him infront of Bush and whoever is lining up next to him. I watched his film and his strength is pretty good. Manhandled Decastro a few times and can take on other ProBowlers without any problems

I was listening to Stryker on the podcast the other night talking about Hargrave playing 3 and 4 technique. Is that correct? That sounds very wide to me. If the nose is that wide, it's two quick seal blocks and Centre to one inside linebacker and you are driving a truck up the middle.

wormley was a beast in college watched him a lot he will be a forece in between cam and tuitt. hargrave would of been worth keeping had we been using 4 dl sets as say you had a 4 dl of de heyward dt tyson 3t hargrave de tuitt than having that much speed and a balanced of strengh and speed for shooting gaps would of been worth keeping javon, as well if we used 4 dl sets they could of putr tj and dupree both at de and beafed up the interior wqith cam at the 1 T and javon at thed under T esp after tuitt injury.
I think wormley will be solid in the 34 base and great in the dime 3-2-6 and has the strenght to hold up when they go to 2-4-5

Yes, he played there exclusively when Tuitt went down. Rarely lined up as a 0 tech, sometimes 1 when everyone was healthy, but he was always a gap disruptor.

Ebron passed his physical last I heard
