Raven GM managers says he is looking for any way possible to get Weidl out from our organization.

Says Weidl has extensively built relationships over the years with many college coaches ect.. Insists Weidl gets information that is way more accurate and on point than most other NFL teams can get and that contributes to his success.

Baltimore has LONG modeled their franchise looking at what the STEELERS do and try to mimic it in all degrees. Like it or not, I feel that has helped them greatly in being so competitive and nemesis for so long.

Yeah I saw that. Hopefully he can live up to the hype. This team desperately needs an injection of talent.

The Steelers better take full advantage of Andy’s time here and not let him get over ruled by the best coach ever or he’ll be out of here much sooner.
If he’s successful the next couple drafts then promote him to GM.
Hopefully Rooney doesn’t **** this up!

When you look back on Tomlin vs Harbage, it is difficult not to give Harbage the nod as having achieved more, because he got a SB win with Bert, and Tomlin got one with Ben and the Cowher coaches/team.

As I previously mentioned:

Steelers > Ravens

Hell of a rivalry there for awhile, best in all pro sports.

I'm not sure this is going to work anyway you cut it. If the Steelers kill this draft they won't specify who specifically was responsible. If they're successful I can't see the duece demote Kahn and promote Weidl, maybe give Weidl equal footing in place of player personnel and Kahn in charge of finance but that's basically what he was before and would probably be butt hurt.

If they nail it Weidl's gone either this year or next. I believe he came here to be close to family etc. for a while, show it wasn't just Howie Roseman and then someone is gonna come knocking.

The title of the thread is misleading...I thought they were trying to get Myles Jack...

Damn it, DIC!!! Now I need a drink to calm myself...
Would that be a big loss? Can't say I was enamored with any of the ILBers. Jack is probably making more than his performance indicates.

I wouldn't discount the first year in the system for Jack. He got a bit dinged up but he was solid all season. Pair this guy w/ another ILB, who isn't gun shy and we could have something. JMO...

Not that he wasn't ok but he made little to no splash plays. Like another poster pointed out two years two teams with little to no splash plays at ILBer isn't a good thing. Think at this point I would prefer that salary lowered by hook or crook. But they won't clean house at the position all at once so he probably is safe for now.

I hate it when **** like that happens. I didn't mean it to confuse yaz, but maybe after your nerves are settled, take a second look................

If you are still worked up, keep going on the nerve medication until it just doesn't matter, then you'll be fine....

Keep in mind he played through injury, and he was giving it his all on every play. I think of the ILBs he played the best.

Now for Robinson, he showed very well, and I think played himself into a starter's role.

Wasn't that the case in Jacksonville too? Two years of that I would roll the dice and say there would be a third year of that. He probably will be around 1 more year to prove it isn't a trend.

I hear yay slash, but hard to release both starting ILBs At the same time.

I think you’re right to venture to say this will be his last season here, unless the tide turns a little.

If they get the Sanders kid, or Robinson playing next to him, maybe Miles Jack will show his better worth.

One can only hope.

If this is accurate give him a better title and mountain of cash. I don't believe Kahn is a football guy.
I hope its not like Steeler fans hoping the Rats sign Action Jackson to a $300M 6 year deal with $180M g'teed.
