I know we all like to think that players on rival teams view each other the same way fanbases do, but the truth of the matter is they all mostly consider themselves football players first and their affiliated teams second.

That is true, but only a few NFL players are accused of murder, with substantial evidence, and circumstances that point to a poisoned conviction of only some who were involved.

I'm not disputing that about Ray Lewis. I'm just saying that the majority of players (including a notable Ben Roethlisberger, with whom he remains friends), apparently don't hold it against him.
