Practice squad. He has to go to their active roster. I can think of 5 or 6 guys on the active squad I'd rather have exposed to this over that guy. ****.

So the reserve futures what is required on that? They just left him exposed to that contract for no reason?
They studderstepped. They either weren't going to add him or they were mulling it over.
Thomas looked promising in the preseason, we need ILBs in the worst way and we let an athletic one go to our biggest rival

This doesn't surprise me. Thomas was pissed off that he was released and said he almost did not sign back to the practice squad.

Because Mike Tomlin signs players, and in this case, opted not to offer Thomas a contract. ******* Tomlin, can't get anything right. /sigh
The Tomlin hate around here is like an anchor around our necks, as far as trying to have adult conversations.

Yep, Thomas had to have shopped around for a different team and decided the Ravens presented him with a better situation than the Steelers. I'm not sure if that was a great decision given our lack of depth at ILB, but it is what it is.
