Damn. 59 frickin' years old. Tomorrow is promised to no one:confused:

He wasnt a Steeler very long, but he certainly had a very impactful few seasons in Pittsburgh

My deepest sympathies go out to to his loved ones, may he rest in peace for eternity

Strangely enough another very impactful player and teammate on that 90’s team Kevin Greene died at 58.

holy ****! i met that dude on mere accident.

I'd left the gym and stopped at a Circle K to get a bottle of water. I walked out and this dude was parked next to my truck. He honked his horn at me, pointed at his chest and gave me a thumbs up. I was in a Steelers t-shirt. Walked over and talked to him...he told me "I used to play for the Steelers - Ray Seals." I asked for a selfie and dude willingly and happily obliged. Took him a few minutes to get out from behind his steering wheel, but dude was damn near as wide as I am tall.

He seemed just an ordinary guy, still a Steelers fan and told me he was a fan of Duck.

RIP, Ray!

GREAT memory Supe, appreciate you sharing it. Ray would’ve liked it as well.

I would select him as player one when playing Madden back in the day. One of my all-time favorite steelers. Rest in peace Ray.
